From a small local shop to global baking business, our owners — Jacky and Ken — can tell a story or two about Charlie’s! Through the highs, lows, and plot twists, we’re proud to say that after 25 years we’re still 100% Australian owned, and continue to bake all our delicious products locally. Bringing delight has always been at the front and centre of our mission. From the cookies, biscuits, and slices that we bake, to the culture we create or the partnerships we have forged with our customers and our local community — we care about bringing people together and using what we do to make life a little bit brighter.
We may produce a lot of cookies — a few tonnes a day in fact — but we’d never call ourselves a factory. That’s because we’re passionate about keeping things real. Real food, made by real people. From our traditionally delicious classics to our latest plant-based recipes, all our products are baked in Melbourne using premium ingredients and are available to purchase at our online store or from our bricks-and-mortar store in Bentleigh.
With over 25 years of experience in baking our delicious range of cookies, biscuits, slices, crackers, and pita chips, we know a thing or two about baking! We know the best places to sourcepremium local ingredients, how to develop an ethical supply chain and all the ins and outs of producing quality baked goods, at scale. Over the years we have partnered with Australia’s largest retailers, helping them to develop private label products, along with brand new start-ups — giving them the support they need to bring their unique products to market.
